Well, I am trying to add photo taken with my iPhone, but obviously, as usual, all technology is working against me. Will keep trying.

Tiny potatoes on a soggy morning
It is raining steadily so we went downstairs to the nice restaurant for breakfast. Probably staying in all day to catch up on sleep. Tomorrow we board our ship, Westerdam. Today I enjoyed my breakfast potatoes that came in the cute little pot and tried to find the UGA game on TV or internet to no avail.🙁 On the plus side, there is a Tim Horton's right across from the hotel--I see donuts in my future.

Off on our Alaskan Cruise--minus two crew members!
This was the trip we were meeting up with our friends from England to go on an Alaskan Cruise, but unforeseen circumstances caused our friends to have to cancel/postpone their trip. Hopefully, while we are off on the cruise and missing having them along, she is getting the care she needs so she will feel 100% better.
This is the only photo taken today--on our 4 leg journey to Vancouver. We left Thursday and drove to Greenville, hoping at every moment that we don't get a text from Delta saying they've cancelled our flight due to the hurricane. Friday morning, WE WOKE UP AT 3 AM!!! to begin our 3 flight day--Greenville to Atlanta, Atlanta to Seattle, Seattle to Vancouver. And those of you who know me well know that I really don't like to fly. BUT I have found a cure for my flying anxiety--choose a movie to watch (from the 300 that were offered) that is SCARIER than the flight you are on. I chose "A Quiet Place," and did I choose correctly! That movie had me enthralled from the opening scene and kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time. I even almost jumped out of my seat terrified twice! Excellently written and acted and the perfect cure for the 5 hour flight.
Only a slight delay on the last flight then we were in Vancouver and found possibly the only rude taxi driver I have ever encountered. He actually barked at Ray to bring the bags to the back of the taxi when Ray was already moving them there without any help from the driver. He would ask a question then not even respond to an answer--especially when I answered him. Maybe it was a cultural thing. I don't know, but it surprised me being that this is polite Canada.
The above photo is Mt. Rainier as we flew by--up close and personal.
