Sunday, July 12--Out for Fresh Air

Well, I guess I lost a day there. When I got ready to post today's blog, I noticed that there wasn't one for yesterday! Guess I slept through the day and forgot.

Today, Sunday, was my first time out of the apartment in 4 days!!! So good to get out again. I felt like I needed some fresh air, so we caught the bus by Holyrood, standing near the Scottish Parliament buildings which caused a huge controversy when they were built because of the design of the exterior. We went to the Tesco then out to Ocean Terminal. We had lunch at Potters Bar & Kitchen—delicious chicken fajitas for me and a burger for Ray.

Then we took the bus back to North Bridge to buy a salt shaker and an air purifier, which will hopefully help the whole mold situation here at the apartment. So beautiful outside today even though a bit sprinkly. Holyrood Park has changed drastically since the apartment tried to kill me. Now there are buildings put up and white tents with pointy roofs that remind me of the Harry Potter tents—all of this for the Gathering that will be held here at the end of July.

As we walked back down Canongate, I finally found the St. John’s Cross in the pavement that marks the place where the Knights Templar used to meet. Will have to do my whole tour of the closes on another day.
