These days at sea are so relaxing. With the gentle rocking of the ship, it seems we can’t sit still for more than 5 minutes without nodding off. I may not even get through one book if this keeps happening.
Stopping at Ponta Delgada in the Azores may be in question now as there has been a medical emergency with one of the passengers requiring us to divert to Bermuda so that he/she can get medical attention. It seems we are unable to cross the ocean without a stop here. Maybe there is some strange pulling force that brings us here—it is the Bermuda Triangle after all--last time it was to pick up replacement satellite equipment. So now on top of the 15 hours late leaving port, we are now about 5 more hours behind, for a very understandable reason though.
Nobody wants to hear about what we had for dinner, but since I am making this blog for myself also and want to remember the fabulous dishes we are served, I do want to mention my dessert for this evening: Orange Grand Marnier Souffle with Vanilla Bean Sauce. Truly unforgettable.
