Sunny Day in Oban. Thursday, October 20

Much easier day today than yesterday.  No rushing to get early ferry.  Ate breakfast here then shopping for meds for Ray--he still has his sinus trouble that he's had since flight over--and a couple of books for each of us.  We watched some of Time Team (archeology) which I find fascinating, the caught the 2 pm ferry that goes to Lismore and back.

Water was like glass and with the sun made for an amazing trip with cloud reflections on the water and making the colors of the hills and mountains stand out.  So pretty.  Saw a seal and castles, and lighthouses, then returned for early dinner at The Corryvreckan, a Wetherspoons restaurant.  This may be it for the day since it is only 5:30 and I am already in my pajamas!

I like this light fixture in the Corryvreckan Restaurant--on a former Railway Quay and built on reclaimed land from when the railway finally reached Oban in 1880:
