Judi headed back to the States first thing this morning and once Ray was back from taking her to the airport, we went to see Harry Potter once again. At the Leith theatre this time, out at Ocean Terminal. On the way we drove past the area where J. K. Rowling lived when she was poor and writing the first Harry Potter book. On the corner is a bar and when I first looked, I thought it said Alohomora—which is a spell to open doors, but it really said Alhambra. Funny.
After the movie, we walked down to the Royal Mile and had a late lunch at World’s End Pub. I had delicious salmon and Ray had a burger. And this time I got a pint of my favorite of anywhere ale—Dark Island from Orkney. It is so good. I drank about 1/10 of it and Ray finished it off for me. Went by the Post Office and Mail Boxes, Etc. to check on the cheapest rates to ship some books home.
Since we had lunch so late, dinner was just snacking.
